SCOPE: To design, manufacture and deliver 330kV Arteche instrument transformers
BACKGROUND: Eraring Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will support further renewable project development by charging during the day when renewable energy sources like solar generation is plentiful and discharging into the grid during peak periods.
As a long-standing supplier to Transgrid, GFF Power/Arteche were chosen to provide all the 330kV current transformers and capacitive voltage transformers needed for the construction of the required 330kV substation.
SERVICES PROVIDED
- Design, manufacture and supply of Arteche current transformers and capacitive voltage transformers.
- Ongoing project management, including provision of regular updates relating to anticipated delivery timeline.
- Complete logistical assistance covering international freight, port clearance and delivery to site, including unloading.
- Technical support as required by Transgrid throughout the project.
OUTCOMES
All equipment was manufactured to Transgrid’s specifications, produced in-line with the agreed schedule, and safely delivered to site per the project required timelines.
